Avoid deodorant, heavy creams, and sun exposure for 24 hours before. Arrive with clean, dry underarms and hair at least quarter-inch long. Our estheticians will review concerns and ensure a quick, comfortable waxing experience tailored to you.

Mild, temporary redness or darkening can occur but usually fades within 24-48 hours. We use gentle wax and calming post-wax treatments to soothe skin and recommend aftercare to minimize irritation and protect results.

Hair should be about 1/4 inch long — roughly two weeks of growth — so the wax can grip properly. If hair is too short we may reschedule; if too long we'll trim slightly for comfort.

Most clients feel brief discomfort during removal, but it’s quick. We minimize pain with correct wax temperature, swift technique, and soothing pressure. Breathing techniques and calming gels also help reduce sensitivity.

If you have sensitive skin we offer gentler wax options and pre-wax care to reduce reactions. Avoid waxing over open sores, sunburn, or active infections and inform us of medications or conditions for a safe patch test.
